During my time as a personal trainer, in order to standout and establish credibility you had to be featured in press & media. So when I started my career, I cold-called and emailed every media outlet that I could with a pitch to be featured as an expert.
I was featured in The Los Angeles Times, Harper’s Bazaar Netherlands, Vanity Fair Italy, Cosmopolitan, Town & Country, Forbes, Self, BuzzFeed, Us, Star, VH1, Refinery29 and more.
Then with the explosion of social media, from 2014 - 2020, I built enough of a community to be considered an “influencer” — which lead to brand deals, paid posts, media partnerships and more. I created two viral memes that have amassed over 70-Million views to date.
